Door count, court depth and pavement design are set by the vehicles that will use them, and getting the depth wrong is not fixable.

Court depth cannot be added later
If a truck court is too shallow for tractor-trailers to manoeuvre into every door, the building has doors that cannot be used. That reduces the effective size of the building permanently, and there is no way to add depth to a court once the building and the property line exist.
What decides it
- Court depth, tested against the actual vehicles.
- Door count and spacing, driven by the operation.
- Levellers, seals and bumpers — the equipment that gets used daily.
- Trailer parking, separate from manoeuvring space.
- Pavement design for continuous heavy loading.
How we handle it

- 05Coordinate court drainage properly — it is a large paved area.
Run the vehicle turning templates before the building is positioned on the site. Court depth is the one dimension that genuinely cannot be added afterwards, and doors nobody can reach are worse than no doors at all.
